"At last a Sniper game worthy of the iPhone"
* Intuitive Controls: It feels like youre holding the gun, not controlling it (seriously, if you were disappointed with the control scheme of other sniper games, you have to try this one).
* Realistic Trigger Mechanism - squeeze it slowly, steady your hands, hold your breath.
* Gorgeous photo based maps (most taken on location!)
* Realistic sounds
* In-game spotter gives you instructions over the radio.
* 6 maps
Make sure you put on your headphones for this one.
*** Shooting Tips ***
If it is too hard: Make sure you are sitting down, steady your wrists on a table, squeeze the trigger slowly, move your hands (not your body) adjust for left handed use.
Too easy? Try playing standing up, use your weak hand and, for extra credit, play the game on a moving bus.
Touch the (i) button to select map, change control direction and calibrate.
Good Hunting!
Pros and cons of Shadowland: Shades of Black app for iPhone and iPad
Shadowland: Shades of Black app good for
Game is freaking awesome. Way too short though. I dont expect much for a buck but I do hope the follow ups are longer per chapter because its a really fun game but over too quickly and with not very much replay value. I want NEW levels. I want more more more!!!
I am an avid fps fan and this game was pretty damn good for an iPhone game. Good work and finish chapter 2 before I deploy please.
Wtf? Its an entertaining game so far, but I cant find the third guy!!!! Help please!!!!!
Loved it but had to flip phone on side to acquire target at times. Hopefully will be addressed in sequel. When is it coming ?
Awsome game, love the spotter assistance and the fun but challenging difficulty level. However the motion sensor needs major improvement so that you dont have to assume odd positions in order to aim the rectical.
Very cool game with levels that are well programed. The player does not advance just "because". You need to be really steady at holding because your breath and pulling the trigger. When the gun fires it sounds like a real gun. Not a cheese electrionic one.
Over all I cant wait fo the sequal
Some bad moments
The game suddenly has stopped wrking properly the screen skips all over the place
Where is it??? Where is it???? Im waiting!!! Im waiting!!! Hurrry up!!! Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyy uuuuuppp!!!!!!!
Good game, but the motion sense is completely off. I have to point the iphone at my feet to see the horizen and practically upside down to see below it.
Not sure what sniper game all these folks are playing but its not this one...more likely these are all phoney baloney reviews. Sure, the realism of the scope is pretty nice, but the game is incredibly limiting. No practice mode, minimal instructions (spotter supposedly tells u who to shoot but you get killed by some "mystery shooter" everytime on the first round even after u take out the two rooftop snipers as instructed). Far too simplistic of a game to warrant five or even four stars at this point. Id say "back to the drawing board" for some serious update work.
This is a terrific START to a slick and fun game. Get passed stage 1 and its over! The motion controller is odd. For the money the author needs to keep working on turning his great concept into a real game.
Way short, definitely not worth 1 dollar. The playability is gone once you beat it.
